Uriage × Conor O'Keeffe — Active-Skincare Campaign

Overview

The campaign

Uriage partnered with Sport Endorse to build active-skincare credibility through Irish ultra-endurance coach Conor O'Keeffe. The campaign used authentic Instagram video content to demonstrate skincare in a demanding outdoor context. An initial three-month booking was then renewed for a further three months, extending the collaboration to six consecutive months.

The challenge

Uriage needed a sports partner who could make dermatological skincare feel relevant to active consumers rather than forcing a conventional beauty endorsement into a performance setting. The brand's products are built around dermatological expertise and Uriage Thermal Water, with ranges focused on hydration, soothing, protection and skin-barrier care. To translate those benefits into sport, Uriage needed an athlete whose everyday environment naturally exposed skin to weather, sweat, repeated training and long periods outdoors.

The campaign also needed continuity. A single sponsored post could generate visibility, but it would provide limited opportunity to show product use over time or build a credible association between the brand and an endurance lifestyle. The stronger route was a recurring ambassador relationship with an athlete who could repeatedly integrate the products into content without making the partnership feel detached from his normal routine.

The Sport Endorse solution

Sport Endorse connected Uriage with Conor O'Keeffe, an Irish ultra-endurance athlete and coach known for training and competing in demanding outdoor conditions. Sport Endorse's original case study records that Conor became an ambassador for Uriage skincare products and created engaging Instagram videos for an audience of almost 50,000 followers, using his active lifestyle to demonstrate the relevance of the range.

Internal HubSpot records add important commercial detail that was not visible in the public success story. The first booking covered June, July and August 2024, creating a structured three-month content programme rather than a one-off endorsement. A second HubSpot Deal was then created for September, October and November 2024 and classified as Existing Business. An internal October note confirms that a further three months had been agreed with Conor and Uriage.

That renewal extended the relationship to six consecutive months. While the CRM records reviewed do not provide campaign-specific impressions, views or engagement-rate figures, the documented extension is a useful B2B trust signal: the relationship progressed from an initial trial period into a second three-month booking instead of ending after the first activation.

Athlete fit

Conor was a strong category fit because skincare protection and recovery could be demonstrated within a genuinely demanding routine. Sport Endorse described him as an ultra-endurance coach who thrives in all weather conditions, while independent coverage has documented his history as an ultrarunner. His public endurance profile therefore gave Uriage a credible way to talk about skincare outside a traditional beauty environment.

The audience fit mattered as well. The original Sport Endorse case study places Conor's Instagram following at almost 50,000 during the campaign. That gave Uriage access to a concentrated community interested in training, endurance and active lifestyles, while video allowed the brand to show product use in context rather than relying only on static product placement. The result was a partnership where the athlete, environment and product category reinforced one another.

Deliverables

  • Conor O'Keeffe selected as Uriage's active-skincare ambassador through Sport Endorse.
  • Instagram video content created to demonstrate Uriage skincare within an outdoor endurance context.
  • Initial three-month content booking covering June, July and August 2024.
  • Renewal agreed for a further three months covering September, October and November 2024.
  • Six consecutive months of ambassador activity documented across the two HubSpot Deals.
  • Uriage positioned to Conor's almost-50K Instagram audience through authentic athlete-led skincare storytelling.

Results

The records reviewed do not contain verified campaign-level impressions, video views, engagement rate or sales uplift, so none have been estimated. Sport Endorse's public case study states that Conor's videos helped increase brand awareness and engagement, while the strongest internally verifiable commercial outcome is the three-month renewal that extended the original booking to six months.
